The people that manage the Tidewater Chapter are made up of vendors, users, consultants, systems integrators and more. They are employed in government and commercial sector jobs. The one thing they all have in common is the belief that supporting their ARMA chapter is important enough to volunteer their valuable time. Michele is the Records Management Administrator for Hampton Roads Transit. Michele manages the active, inactive, and archival records and serve as the overall records expert for Hampton Roads Transit. She also represents HRT as the Records Officer to the Library of Virginia. Michele has 25+ years of experience in positions in Records Management and Technical/Business Libraries. While in the Tidewater ARMA Chapter she has served as President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Past President and on many committees.
Michele has been a member of ARMA International and the Tidewater Chapter since 1996 and has served on several task force teams at the International level. She also served on the Mid-Atlantic Region Board as a Chapter Advisor from 2017-2020
Felicia was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia and now lives in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia. She is number seven of eight children. Five girls and three boys. Felicia is married to her loving, supportive, and wonderful husband, Alfred for 22 years and they have an adventurous and bright six year old son. She loves spending time with her family, reading, and singing.
Felicia worked in healthcare for over 20 years in the field of Health Information Management. She has an undergraduate degree in Political Science and two graduate degrees in Communication and Worship Studies and Leadership. Felicia works for the City of Newport News Waterworks as the Records Management Specialist.
Lori is the Records Manager for BayPort Credit Union. Of her 31 years at BayPort, 17 of those have been in the Records department managing a department of 6 staff and servicing electronic and paper records for 28 branches. Lori joined the Tidewater ARMA chapter in 2005 and has served as chair for several committee’s as well as holding board positions over the years.
Sheryl Eni is an Information and Logistics Manager stationed at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center’s Wallops Flight Facility in Wallops Island, Virginia. Sheryl Eni serves in several capacities as a Records Storage Facility Manager, Records Liaison Officer, and as a Task Monitor. Sheryl provides program management and oversight of the Wallops on-site records storage facility to include total life cycle management of records which entails creating, retrieval, maintenance, and disposition of paper and electronic records. Sheryl is also responsible for leading, planning, and managing her Directorate’s records management program. This involves transferring records to NARA, as well as, providing policy and procedural guidance, and training to records custodians. Likewise, she implements records management policies and procedures.
Additionally, she develops, reviews, validates and approves file plans and records inventories. In her free time, Sheryl enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling. She is also an active member of the eastern shore community. Sheryl holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
Darlene is the Manager of Regulatory Documentation for Newport News Shipbuilding.
Having been employed there for 30 years, 27 of her years of service have been in the field of Records Management. In her current position, Darlene administers the Company’s comprehensive Records Management Program, as well as its Technical and Specifications Libraries. Aside from these responsibilities, she is also a Quality Lead Auditor, qualifying her to manage the planning and performance of Quality System Audits.
An active member of Tidewater ARMA, she has served on the Board in several capacities, and is currently Chapter President and Historian. Upon joining the Chapter in 1998, she immediately proceeded to integrate herself fully into the Chapter, signing up for service on several committees. In 1999, after only one year of membership, the Nominating Committee approached Darlene requesting that she consider a position on the Board as Vice-President. She answered the call and the rest is history. For twelve of her nineteen years in the Chapter, Darlene has served on the Board in some capacity.
Jonathan is the Records Management Specialist for the City of Hampton, Virginia. A graduate of Old Dominion University, he earned his BA in Education with a minor in Administration Support Technology.
Jonathan manages the City of Hampton’s Records Management program for all 43 departments. The Records Management program advises IT and Department managers as well as records professionals on responsible record-keeping principles and ever-changing guidelines and laws of the Library of Virginia. He is the administrator for the City’s electronic document management system – Laserfiche. Manages the City’s off-site physical records and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
Jonathan has been in the Records Management field since 2008 and has been a member of the Tidewater Chapter of ARMA International since 2008. He has served as the Secretary once, Vice President and President twice since being a member of ARMA. He has served as Chair and member on several of the Chapter’s Committees. Jonathan has been the Chapter's Webmaster since 2010.
